Bathroom

There will be a ¾ bathroom in the house. It will be the only bathroom, but it would serve well enough for me. The bathroom will have a shower stall, sink, and toilet. This will meet all of my needs, and allow me to perform the standard hygiene practices that I would perform. This includes brushing my teeth, shaving, and showering. The bathroom will have a water resistant bluetooth speaker. I will pair the phone with the speaker, and keep the phone out of the bathroom, and it would allow me to play my music while I am bathing, or otherwise.

There is no bathtub, and simply put, there isn’t much space in the house to properly provide for a tub. I will remove the existing tub, and replace it with a shower stall. When the pain is too much, I will be able to sit on a bench in the shower that folds against the wall. There will be a rack for soaps, and wash cloths. Since I shave my head bald, I don’t need to worry about shampoo. I will prefer a sliding glass door instead of a swing style door.

The sink will be a standard sink and not much to talk about. There will be a medicine cabinet with shelves for prescription medicines. And something that is only found in older houses will be a blade disposal slot in the medicine cabinet. Back before cartridge razors became predominant, people would use double edge razors to shave. I do the same thing, and never looked back. When I am done with a blade, I will insert it into the slot, and it will go in behind the wall to never be seen or thought of again. The only issue with this is if there was renovation work that would need to be done in that area, it might cause problems.

The toilet is nothing too special. There will be a bidet in case I or a visitor will need to use that. If it saves on needing to order toilet paper, it might be something worth considering, although I will still need toilet paper for people that would prefer to not use my bidet.
