In the laundry room, there will be 2 double load washers, and 2 double load dryers. This will allow me to launder heavy or thick blankets that might struggle to fit in a single load machine. I would rather have the machines home, and in the basement than to go to a laundromat, the double load machines will start to make sense. There will be a shelf for storing laundry soap, and dryer sheets (if I should choose to use them). There will also be a laundry sink in between the machines, but the washer will unload directly into the sewage line rather than into the laundry tub sink. This allows the sink to be used for other laundry needs, although I don’t see them. Both machines will be front loading.
To prevent forgetting to turn off the light, the light will turn on automatically when the door is open, and turn off automatically when the door is closed. Therefore, the person doing the laundry just has to remember to close the door. Don’t worry, the machines aren’t afraid of the dark.
